Jonathan Latim

I walk between domains and build what I find there.

Jonathan Latim's background spans aerospace engineering, business, and data science. His work moves between technical systems and social systems: how requirements are formed, how thresholds are applied, and how observers interpret the people who remain visible.

The Selection Mirage is a research framework connecting differential effective thresholds to selective survivor excellence and the inferences observers draw from survivor populations about the processes that produced them. It redirects attention from entry alone to what happens after entry: the performance required, the mistakes tolerated, and the opportunities for recovery.

Latim is writing a book and building tools at KRINO Systems for operators who need to judge. He is also building Kythen, a social connection app for the rooms people return to.
